Shedrub Ling is one of the oldest Buddhist communities of Ural Region.
The Shedrub Ling story started in Winter 1995, when a Buriat lama Darma-Dodi Jalsaraev had instructed his disciple Tendzin Dokchit to build a Buddhist Temple on the mount Kachkanar. The works started on the 16th of May 1995 and continue up till now.
